What if a hyaluronic acid injection does not relieve knee pain?

Seek prompt medical care for a hot, red, increasingly swollen knee, fever, or feeling unwell after an injection. Get urgent help for sudden inability to bear weight, a deformed knee, a locked joint, rapidly worsening pain, or new calf swelling with breathlessness or chest pain. These symptoms may need immediate assessment rather than routine monitoring.
