What Does Trouble Getting Pregnant Feel Like With Endometriosis?

Fertility difficulty is often noticed as not becoming pregnant after trying, rather than as a sensation in the body. Endometriosis can cause tissue similar to the womb lining to grow outside the womb. Inflammation and scar tissue may affect the ovaries, fallopian tubes, or nearby pelvic structures. This can exist with painful periods, ongoing pelvic pain, pain with sex, or pain when opening the bowels or passing urine, especially around a period. Some people have few or no pain symptoms, so the absence of pain does not rule out endometriosis. Difficulty conceiving can also have other causes, and it cannot identify the cause by itself.
