What does ovulation induction treat?

It is commonly used for anovulation, including ovulation problems associated with polycystic ovary syndrome. It may also be part of care for female infertility when irregular ovulation is a contributing factor. Clomifene citrate or letrozole may be prescribed, depending on your situation. Treatment can be paired with timed intercourse or IUI. It does not correct blocked fallopian tubes or sperm-related causes.
