Try smaller meals and allow time between eating and lying down. Staying upright after food, raising the head of the bed if night symptoms are frequent, and avoiding clothing that presses tightly around the abdomen may help. Identify personal triggers such as rich meals, alcohol, caffeine, or acidic foods rather than removing many foods without a clear reason.
