You might wait before urine starts, need to strain, notice a stop-start flow, or dribble after finishing. Urgency, frequent urination, and waking at night can occur as well. Prostate cancer and benign prostate enlargement can produce overlapping urinary symptoms, while infection and bladder conditions can also affect flow. The sensation alone cannot tell you which condition is responsible.
