What are the symptoms of a distal radius fracture?

The distal radius is the end of the larger forearm bone beside the wrist. A break there may cause [Wrist Pain](/symptoms/wrist-pain/) that worsens with movement or pressure. [Hand Swelling](/symptoms/hand-swelling/) and bruising can develop around the wrist and extend into the hand.
