What should you know about Vicks for runny nose?

A runny nose happens when the nasal lining produces extra fluid. A common cold, influenza or COVID-19 may cause it with other infection symptoms. Allergic rhinitis, pet allergy and house dust mite allergy can cause repeated watery discharge, sneezing and itching. Sinusitis may bring thicker mucus, facial pressure or a blocked nose. Avoid smoke and strong fragrances while the lining is irritated.

Arrange medical advice for a runny nose with severe facial pain, eye swelling, a high or persistent fever, blood that keeps recurring, or symptoms that continue without a clear trigger.
