Treatment for port wine stain on face

A port wine stain is a capillary malformation made up of small blood vessels close to the skin surface. It may be pink, red, or purple and can become darker or thicker over time. It is not caused by poor hygiene and cannot be diagnosed reliably from a photograph alone.
