Travel vaccine consultation: what should you know?

After vaccination, follow the clinic's advice and keep your record accessible. Mild soreness or tiredness can occur. Ask whether an inactivated vaccine is suitable for you and remember that vaccines do not remove the need for safe food, water, insect, and hand-hygiene practices.

Seek urgent help after vaccination for trouble breathing, throat or facial swelling, collapse, or widespread hives. Contact a clinician for symptoms that worsen or do not settle as expected. After travel, report fever or significant illness and give your travel history.
