Where TFCC tear pain is felt

The pain may be most noticeable in the soft area just beyond the wrist crease on the little-finger side. Turning the palm up or down, gripping, pushing up from a chair, or carrying a load can make it sharper. Some people notice clicking, a feeling of instability, or tenderness with pressure. This pattern can fit a TFCC injury, but it can also overlap with other wrist conditions; the location does not establish a diagnosis by itself.
