Reusable adhesive pads connect the skin to the unit through lead wires. Their gel surface helps distribute the current, while the controller adjusts the pulse pattern and strength. Pads gradually lose adhesion or become dry, so poor contact may cause patchy stimulation or uncomfortable stinging. Supplies are part of safe use: damaged wires, cracked pads, or a loose battery compartment should not be ignored.

Apply pads to clean, dry skin without oil, lotion, or sweat. Follow the product instructions for cleaning and storage, and do not share pads that contact another person’s skin. Disconnect leads before removing electrodes, and inspect wires before each session. Replace supplies when they no longer stick, the gel changes, or stimulation feels uneven. Keep the unit and accessories dry and away from children.

Stop and remove the pads if you develop burning, a persistent rash, swelling, or blistering. Get medical advice if pain is worsening, unexplained, or accompanied by weakness or numbness. Seek urgent care for sudden limb weakness, fainting, chest pain, or severe symptoms after an injury. A replacement pad cannot safely substitute for assessment of a new problem.
