T3a prostate cancer life expectancy: what to know

T3a means the cancer has grown through the prostate capsule or into nearby structures such as the bladder neck, but this label alone does not describe every feature that shapes an outlook. Doctors also review the PSA level, Grade Group or Gleason score, biopsy findings, scans, lymph nodes and whether cancer has spread elsewhere.
