What causes super dark inner thighs?

Skin rubbing during walking, tight clothing, sweating, shaving, or fragranced products can inflame the inner thighs. Intertrigo may cause redness, soreness, moisture, or a rash in the fold; darker colour can remain after the irritation settles. Texture, itch, scaling, odour, pain, and a clear border help a clinician work out whether inflammation, infection, or pigment change is involved.
