What should you know about skin whitening peel off mask?

The film adheres to the outer skin and is removed by traction. That action can disturb the skin barrier, especially when the face is dry, sun-exposed, recently shaved or already inflamed. Burning, redness, tightness and flakes are signs of irritation rather than proof that pigment is being safely removed. Peeling skin may also occur with sunburn, psoriasis or athlete's foot, depending on the body area and accompanying symptoms.

Do not pull at remaining film or scrub loose flakes. Soften it with lukewarm water, then use a bland cleanser and moisturiser. Pause exfoliating acids, retinoids, fragranced products and hair removal until comfort returns. Protect exposed skin from sunlight with clothing and sunscreen.
