Serous ovarian cancer is an ovarian cancer diagnosis; symptoms such as bloating or pelvic discomfort do not establish the diagnosis on their own.

Treatment planning depends on the tumour type, its extent, the person’s health, and the findings from surgery or tissue testing. Care may involve an operation, medicines, or a sequence of these approaches.
