Wait for the display to settle, then note the reading, pulse and time alongside how you feel. Repeat an unexpected result after checking fit and signal. Follow any monitoring instructions from your clinician and do not change treatment based on a device reading alone.

Seek urgent help for severe or worsening breathlessness, blue or grey lips, chest pain, faintness, new confusion or inability to speak comfortably.
