What should you know about riester otoscope ophthalmoscope set?

The otoscope uses directed light and magnification to help a clinician inspect the ear canal and eardrum. The ophthalmoscope directs light through the pupil to help inspect visible structures at the back of the eye. These views are interpreted alongside your symptoms, medical history and other examination findings. The equipment is an aid to assessment, not a diagnosis on its own.

Before an appointment, mention eye pain, vision change, light sensitivity, earache, discharge, hearing change, dizziness or a recent injury. Avoid inserting objects into an ear and do not share personal eye or ear attachments. The examination may involve a bright light and close positioning, so tell the clinician if you are uncomfortable.
