Ask whether one treatment plan can address both conditions or whether separate specialists should coordinate adjustments.

Seek urgent care for heavy rectal bleeding, severe or worsening abdominal pain, persistent vomiting, faintness, fever with a hot swollen joint, sudden eye pain or vision change, chest pain, or breathlessness. These symptoms need timely assessment and should not be explained away as a routine arthritis flare.
