What should you know about red bumps on skin not itchy?

Note pain, warmth, tenderness, scale, swelling, drainage, and whether the bumps fade when pressed. A new product may cause Contact Dermatitis even when itch is limited. Psoriasis and Lichen Planus can produce persistent red or discoloured areas with surface change. Seek urgent help for breathing difficulty, facial swelling, rapidly spreading redness, severe pain, blistering, fever, or purple or dark areas. Prompt assessment is sensible for warmth, pus, red streaking, or a rash near the eyes or mouth. Arrange a routine review if the bumps persist, recur, or develop scale, cracking, bleeding, or tenderness.
