Platelet-rich fibrin, or PRF, is prepared from a small sample of your blood and placed in the treatment area. It is used with the aim of supporting a gradual change in skin quality. It does not work like a gel implant that immediately adds volume.

Tear-trough filler usually refers to an injectable gel placed beneath the eyes to soften a hollow and reduce the shadow it creates.
