What is the name of the polio vaccine?

A record may use IPV, inactivated poliovirus vaccine, or a longer combination-vaccine name. These labels refer to the polio component rather than a separate illness. The vaccine prepares immune defences against poliomyelitis, an infection that can affect the nervous system.
