A combination vaccine contains components that train the immune system to recognise more than one infection. Contact the clinic if fever is persistent, the child is difficult to wake, or a reaction is worrying. These reactions are uncommon, but prompt assessment matters. Do not delay urgent care while looking for the vaccination record.
