What should you know about permanent eyebrow hair removal?

After treatment, follow the advised cleansing and sun-protection routine and avoid picking flakes or crusts. Contact the treating clinic if you are unsure whether a reaction is part of normal healing, especially when the area is close to the eye.

Get prompt medical advice for worsening pain, spreading redness, increasing warmth, pus, fever, marked swelling or skin changes that continue to deteriorate rather than settle. Because the eyebrows sit close to the eyes, urgent assessment is appropriate for eye pain, new blurred or reduced vision, light sensitivity or difficulty opening the eye.

A blister, burn or significant colour change should be reported to the treating clinician. Do not apply unapproved creams or attempt another cosmetic treatment over irritated skin while it heals.
