What should you know about one bloodshot eye no pain?

Redness can happen when small surface vessels widen because of dryness, dust, rubbing, contact-lens irritation, or an isolated surface bleed. A sharply defined bright-red patch with no pain or vision change can look alarming while remaining on the eye surface. It should still be watched for change.
