Ask whether a staged approach is safer than trying to change everything in one visit and when the review should happen.

Seek prompt medical advice for increasing pain, pale or mottled skin, coolness, blistering, or swelling that is rapidly worsening. Vision changes, severe headache, weakness, confusion, or speech problems after an injection require emergency care. These symptoms are not routine settling effects.
