Natural breast enhancement with fat transfer

A surgeon removes fat with liposuction, processes it, and places small amounts into planned areas of the breast. This can combine contouring of a donor area with breast shaping, but it is not the same as an implant and does not create unlimited volume. Some transferred fat may not remain, and the final contour can change as swelling settles and the tissues heal. Suitability depends on available donor fat, breast anatomy, health, goals, and screening needs.

Discuss the desired change, donor sites, scars, anaesthesia, imaging, and the possibility of staged treatment with a qualified breast or plastic surgeon. Provide your medical history, medicines, smoking status, and previous breast imaging. After surgery, expect care instructions for both the breasts and liposuction areas; swelling, bruising, altered sensation, and tenderness can occur. Attend follow-up visits so healing and any lumps or firmness can be assessed. Dermal fillers and lip fillers are different procedures and are not substitutes for breast fat transfer.

Contact the surgical team for increasing redness, warmth, drainage, wound separation, fever, worsening one-sided swelling, or pain that is not settling. Seek urgent care for chest pain, breathing difficulty, fainting, or sudden leg swelling. A new breast lump or persistent change should be examined rather than assumed to be part of normal healing.
