What should you know about a monopolar radio frequency machine?

Radiofrequency energy is electrical energy delivered through an applicator rather than a laser beam. Heat can cause temporary redness, warmth, swelling, or tenderness. Results depend on the device, settings, treatment area, skin condition, and the number of sessions advised. A machine name alone does not establish its suitability or the quality of a treatment.

Seek urgent medical help for facial swelling with breathing difficulty, faintness, or other signs of a serious reaction.
