Milk allergy medicine

A clinician may recommend an antihistamine for selected mild symptoms such as itching, hives or a runny nose. The choice depends on age, other medicines, health conditions and the pattern of previous reactions. Antihistamines do not reliably stop airway swelling, breathing difficulty, fainting or shock. They should not be used to delay emergency care.

Avoid taking someone else's prescription or combining products without checking the active ingredients. Some liquid medicines may contain ingredients that matter to people with allergies.
