What should you know about mild rhabdomyolysis CK levels?

Creatine kinase, or CK, is released into the blood when muscle fibres are damaged. One result cannot show the whole course: the value may change after strenuous exercise, injury, medication or prolonged muscle compression. Clinicians interpret it alongside urine appearance, urine output, muscle pain or weakness, blood electrolytes and kidney function. A result described as mild is not permission to ignore worsening symptoms.

Pause strenuous exercise and follow advice about fluids; people with heart or kidney conditions should not increase fluid intake without guidance.
