Mesotherapy eyes before and after: what to know

A before image may show dryness, uneven texture, fine lines, pigment, or a tired appearance. An after image can show temporary swelling or bruising before any intended cosmetic change becomes easier to judge. Lighting, facial expression, camera distance, makeup, and image editing can make comparisons misleading.

Mesotherapy is a technique that places selected substances into the skin; it is not one uniform formula. Improvement, if it occurs, may be subtle and may not address hollowing, prominent fat pads, deep wrinkles, or a medical cause of discoloration. A photograph cannot confirm that a treatment was appropriate or safe.

Ask the practitioner to explain the starting concern, the product used, the intended endpoint, and when results should be assessed. Take your own photographs in the same natural light, position, and expression, and do not compare an early swollen image with a settled image.

Follow aftercare instructions, avoid rubbing the area, and postpone unplanned cosmetic procedures until the skin has recovered. Keep a record of the product and injection date. If the result is uneven or disappointing, arrange a review rather than trying to correct it at home.

Seek prompt advice for increasing swelling, pain, redness, heat, discharge, or fever. Get urgent help for any change in vision, severe eye pain, new double vision, facial weakness, or difficulty speaking after treatment.
