What should you know about measles immunization day?

Staff usually confirm identity, age, previous doses, allergies, current illness, and medicines before vaccination. The vaccine commonly used for measles protection is MMR, which also covers mumps and rubella. A record should be updated after the dose, and staff can explain expected reactions and follow-up. The visit is a chance to correct missing records, but a group event does not remove the need for individual medical assessment.

Mild soreness, a short-lived fever, or a small rash can occur after vaccination.
