Which mosquito carries malaria?

Only a mosquito carrying the malaria parasite can transmit it. The mosquito acquires the parasite when it feeds on an infected person; later, another bite can introduce the parasite into someone else. A bite may go unnoticed, and not every mosquito in a destination carries malaria.
