What it may mean

Mild cramps can occur as the uterus changes, while light spotting may arise from the cervix or other early-pregnancy changes. Infection, miscarriage, or ectopic pregnancy can also cause bleeding and pain. One-sided pain, worsening pain, dizziness, or shoulder pain should not be watched at home.
