Laryngitis side effects and symptoms

The larynx becomes inflamed when the vocal cords are irritated. Their movement then changes, which may make the voice rough, breathy, weak, or unusually low. Some people notice frequent throat clearing, a tickling cough, dryness, or a feeling of something in the throat. A cold may add congestion, fatigue, or a sore throat.
