Kojic Acid for Pimples

A pimple forms when a follicle becomes blocked and inflamed. After it settles, the skin may leave a flat brown, grey, or red mark. Kojic acid acts on excess pigment in some of these leftover dark marks; it does not unclog the follicle or calm the inflammation that creates an active spot.
