Jaw Filler Before and After a Double Chin

A double chin is fullness beneath the chin that may reflect fat, skin laxity, anatomy or a combination. Jaw filler adds structure along selected parts of the jaw, which can improve the transition between the face and neck in some people. It cannot remove fat beneath the chin, and added volume may be unsuitable if the main concern is heaviness in that area.

Call the treating clinic for increasing pain, spreading redness, unusual warmth, drainage, fever, or swelling that continues to worsen. Get urgent medical help for breathing difficulty, severe swelling, vision symptoms or sudden weakness. These symptoms need prompt assessment rather than waiting for the cosmetic result to settle.
