Hyaluronic acid is a substance that can hold water at the skin surface, helping the skin feel softer and less tight when used in a suitable formulation. An emulsion combines water and oil-based components, so its texture may feel lighter than an ointment while still adding moisture. The product is for external use and is not the same as a Hyaluronic Acid Injection, which is a clinical procedure. Hydration products can improve comfort, but they do not treat every rash, infection, allergy, or persistent skin condition.

Apply a small amount to clean skin according to the product label, usually after cleansing and while the skin is slightly damp. Spread it gently rather than rubbing an irritated area. Test a small area first if your skin reacts easily, and avoid contact with the eyes, open wounds, or areas with active infection unless a clinician advises otherwise. Keep the container closed and follow its storage instructions. If you use other topical products, ask a pharmacist or clinician about the order and whether the ingredients are suitable together.

Stop using the emulsion and seek advice if you develop marked burning, swelling, blistering, hives, or a spreading rash. Urgent help is needed for facial or throat swelling, breathing difficulty, or faintness after application. Arrange a medical review when dryness, itching, redness, or scaling persists despite gentle skin care, because the cause may need targeted treatment. Do not apply a cosmetic moisturiser over a wound or suspected infection without guidance.
