What should you know about iReliev TENS EMS?

TENS uses mild electrical pulses through skin electrodes to influence pain signals and may make discomfort easier to manage. EMS is intended to stimulate a muscle so it contracts. The two modes can feel different: TENS may feel like tingling, while EMS can cause visible or noticeable tightening. Neither mode identifies the cause of pain or replaces an assessment when symptoms persist.

Read the device instructions, inspect the electrode pads, and place them only on intact skin around the area advised by a clinician. Start at a low intensity and increase gradually only to a strong but comfortable sensation. Keep electrodes away from the front of the neck, head, broken skin, and the chest unless a qualified professional has given specific guidance. Do not use stimulation while driving, bathing, or sleeping. Remove the pads if burning, worsening pain, or unusual skin irritation develops.

Stop and seek medical advice for new weakness, loss of sensation, severe or spreading pain, marked swelling, or a skin reaction that does not settle after the pads are removed. Ask before use if you have an implanted electrical device, a seizure disorder, reduced sensation, circulation problems, or are pregnant. Urgent care is appropriate for chest pain, fainting, breathing difficulty, or sudden neurological symptoms.
