What should you know about initial symptoms of hepatitis C?

Some people notice tiredness, reduced appetite, nausea, discomfort under the right ribs, fever, joint aches, or dark urine. Yellowing of the eyes or skin and pale stools can occur when the liver or bile flow is affected. These symptoms overlap with many other illnesses, and some people feel well while infection is present. Hepatitis C is a viral infection that can persist and affect the liver over time.
