Natural remedies for impetigo

Impetigo is a bacterial infection in damaged skin. Oils, herbal pastes, vinegar, strong antiseptics, and essential oils can irritate an open sore, trigger contact dermatitis, or hide changes that help a clinician judge the infection. Wash hands before care, rinse the sore with lukewarm water and mild cleanser, and pat it dry. Cover it with a clean dressing, avoid picking, and keep nails short.
