The final diagnosis is the pathologist’s integrated interpretation; a glossary, educational outline, or isolated marker description should not be treated as an individual diagnosis.

Read the final diagnosis and comment section first, then review the marker details. Note any recommendation for a repeat stain, a second opinion, or another laboratory test. Write down unfamiliar terms and ask the reporting team to explain their relevance to your specimen.
