Hyaluronic acid is used in different formulations. A product spread on intact skin has different exposure considerations from an injection placed into tissue, and added ingredients or medicines can change the discussion. The treatment area also matters: avoid letting a cosmetic product contact the nipple or the baby's mouth unless a clinician confirms that it is appropriate. Seek prompt advice for increasing redness, warmth, pain, drainage, fever, or a lump that worsens after treatment. Get urgent help for breathing difficulty, widespread hives, facial swelling, faintness, severe headache, or vision changes. Contact your baby's healthcare professional if the baby has an unusual reaction after accidental contact, while continuing to follow emergency advice for serious symptoms.
