It does not replace sun protection, wound care, or treatment of an infection. Products made for injections, opened ampoules, fragranced serums, and household cosmetics are not interchangeable. The safest choice depends on the depth of treatment, the product ingredients, and the advice of the clinician who performed the procedure.

Follow the clinic's written aftercare instructions and use only the product they have approved. Keep hands clean before touching your face, avoid picking flakes, and use a gentle cleanser when washing is permitted. Pause exfoliating acids, retinoids, scrubs, and strongly fragranced products until the skin barrier feels settled. Protect the area from direct sun with the recommended method, and avoid applying anything that stings or causes increasing redness. Do not use an injectable hyaluronic acid product on the skin unless a qualified clinician has specifically instructed you.
