How quickly does under-eye filler relieve dark circles?

A tear trough is a hollow between the lower eyelid and cheek. Filler can add support beneath the skin and reduce the shadow created by that contour. Dark circles may also reflect visible blood vessels, brown pigment, thin skin, allergies, or sleep-related changes, so filling the hollow may not remove all darkness. The first days can include puffiness, tenderness, or bruising that temporarily makes the area look different. Use only the products and compresses recommended by the injector. Avoid rubbing or pressing the area, strenuous activity, and unapproved treatments while early swelling settles. Sleep with your head slightly elevated if advised. Attend the planned review so the injector can assess symmetry and whether residual darkness comes from a cause filler cannot treat. Do not have additional product placed before the result has been assessed.

Contact the injector promptly for worsening pain, marked colour change, increasing swelling, or vision symptoms. Sudden severe pain, pale or mottled skin, weakness, or any change in vision requires urgent emergency assessment because rare blood-flow problems need rapid treatment. Mild tenderness or bruising can occur, but it should not progressively worsen.
