How long does IVF take to work for blocked fallopian tubes?

In IVF, eggs are collected from the ovaries and fertilised in a laboratory. An embryo is then placed in the uterus, so the fallopian tubes do not need to carry the egg and sperm together. The process still requires ovarian stimulation, scans, blood tests, egg retrieval and a planned transfer.
