Follow the fasting, medication, and arrival instructions from your clinic. Bring a snack for afterward if your team recommends one, because you may feel hungry or light-headed after fasting. Stay seated during the test unless staff tell you otherwise, and mention nausea, vomiting, sweating, or faintness promptly. Contact the testing clinic if you vomit the glucose drink, cannot complete the appointment, or feel unwell after leaving.
