Hodgkin lymphoma treatment is delivered in cycles, with rest periods that allow your body to recover. A swollen lymph node may become smaller during treatment, but physical change alone does not show whether all active lymphoma has gone.

The team may review symptoms, examination findings, blood results, and scans. Some scans are planned during treatment and others after a set part of the course. The exact timing depends on the lymphoma features, treatment plan, and your response.

Attend every review and blood test, take prescribed medicines, and tell the team about fever, night sweats, new swelling, pain, or reduced appetite. Bring a written list of symptoms and medicines.

Keep fluids and nutrition in view, follow infection-prevention advice from your centre, and ask before taking a new supplement. Do not interpret a temporary symptom change as a reason to alter treatment.

Contact the treatment team urgently for fever, shaking chills, unusual bleeding, persistent vomiting, or sudden worsening weakness. Get emergency help for severe breathing trouble, chest pain, collapse, or swelling that interferes with breathing or swallowing.
