These measures help the team decide whether pregnancy can continue with supervision or whether birth should be planned sooner.

Treatment can control blood pressure without immediately removing the underlying condition. The care plan may change quickly if results or symptoms change, so an appointment that felt reassuring does not replace advice about new warning signs.

Attend every review and take prescribed medicine as directed. Ask how to record home blood-pressure readings if monitoring at home is part of your plan, and keep a clear list of symptoms and medicines. Resting at home should not delay a planned assessment.
