Ask which route and combination fit your situation, and whether contraception should be added or kept separate. Track symptoms and bleeding after starting treatment. Arrange prompt assessment for bleeding that is unusually heavy, continues between periods, follows sex, or persists after the expected adjustment period. Get urgent help for chest pain, sudden breathing difficulty, coughing blood, one-sided leg swelling, facial drooping, or difficulty speaking.
