How common is shortness of breath in mesothelioma?

A persistent cough, chest pain, reduced stamina, fever, sweating, or unplanned weight loss can occur, but these symptoms have several possible causes. Get emergency help for severe sudden breathing difficulty, chest pressure, fainting, confusion, blue or grey lips, or inability to speak in full sentences. Contact your care team quickly if breathlessness is clearly worsening, if fever develops, or if a new sharp chest pain or coughing blood appears.
